Thank you to everyone who has taken part in the “Hear Our Voice” campaign. At the House of Assembly (8th August 2024) sitting, the Premier has referred to his meeting with the REIT as the catalyst for the delay of the debate of the Bill.

The Premier stated in his address to parliament that our concerns are valid, and that the Government should now take the opportunity to commit to further consultation and ensure that the legislation is “nation leading”.

The “Hear our Voice” campaign was an important piece of our advocacy strategy to achieve this outcome.
